    Great shaves so far everyone!

Prep: hot shower + Shave Secret pre-shave oil
Brush: Omega Pro 48 (post your thoughts on omega boar brushes here!)
    Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Razor: 5/8" Dovo 'Special'
    A/S: Aqua Velva Musk
A/S Balm: Nivea Cool Kick Artic Freeze

Result: Very smooth shave. This is the first shave I used this brush. I got it because I figured it would be good for lathering MWF, and I was right. I face lathered and it was thick and slick. The Nivea after shave is great on hot days like today. All around great shave.

Sorry for the bad picture. I spend all my money on shaving paraphernalia leaving none left over for a camera.

Two passes, and smooth as a beach ball
I prefer the 1912 head but it certainly does the job as well as it can be done.

Yeah I've got a 1912 Ever-Ready Gold with the ornate handle, and a 1924 Ever-Ready Shovel Head, and now the famed 1914 aka "LittleLatherCatcher" and got love for all of em! There Fantastic Razors. Got nine assorted Ever-Ready's and Gem's and two original Auto Strops 1904-1907, and three Valet Auto Strops. All these SE Razors are amazing shavers. There my Straights on a Stick Razors
Got many Straights also, gotta love em!!!

    Default Thursday - Late Afternoon

    Prep: Hot shower
    SC: Ingram
Brush: Simpsons T2 Tulip “Super Badger”
Razor: Merkur 34C HD w/ Merkur Stainless blade
    ASB: Visal ‘Dopo Barba” gel
    AS: Booster “Polar Ice”
    Result: Super fast, presentable shave…

This is probably the fastest shave I've accomplished in quite a while. It was presentable, but nothing to write home about. I still liked it--especially the Ingram shaving cream. It is a quality shaving cream with a nice masculine menthol scent, unlike Proraso; and its relatively inexpensive.

Todays shave was a pleasant one. Stropped the T-I Rams Horn 7/8 on my SRD Black Latigo strop, 30/50. Made some nice smelling Fitjarsoap Be My Honey lather in the SW scuttle, it has a nice smell of wild honey. If given enough product the Simpson Chubby 3 in Super Badger makes unbelivalble quantities of the finest lather. My face enjoyed both the super soft Chubby and the warm, soft lather, then I went to work with the Thiers-Issard. 3 passes today, including ATG gave me the perfect shave I always look for, especially when I have the day off. Finished with Fitjarsoap Neroli aftershave cream. Very good shave!

Perfect weather here in southern Norway today, now it is time for some gardening. Enjoy your day everybody, and thank`s for all the great posts!
    ama,

I love your new house's shave den. Congrats!

Default Adoration Axe, another go at it!!

Put her back on the stones today and tried again.

    Hot shower,
    warm oil
    Dirty Bird Scuttle
    Badger Brush
Gentleman's Best Signature Series Shave Soap/Cella Shave Cream/Glycerine
    Adoration Axe, 1/4 hollow
    AOS Aluminum
    Old Spice
    Vaseline for men.

Put the Axe back on the stones, stopped after the 8K Norton. Edge was sharp but harsh. Took the whiskers off no problem. Tomorrow I'll run it over the 12K and then maybe the .5 Crox and then strop. Hopefully that will smooth it out a bit.
The combination of soap/cream/glycerin caused the brush to give rise to a ton of suds. After three passes, the suds were still filling the scuttle.

    Enjoy

    Good morning guys.

Shave prep: Face wash, bergamot preshave oil
    Brush: Omega boar
    Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Razor: It's a mystery! It is very hard to read the stamp, but to the best of my knowledge it says E. Alberto. 5/8 wedge, spike point, slight smile. It came to me undescribed and unscaled in a lot a while ago. All I did was put her in some zebrawood pants and hone her up.
    Strop: nun2sharp's hanging leather strop
After Shave Splash: Home made vetiver blend
Notes: Nice, smooth shave, but too much preshave oil killed my suds today. Ah well, still a great shave. One day I'm gonna find out what that stamp really says, and then I'm going to buy myself another of these. I really like it a lot.
