    Brush:Semogue 830 & TGN 24mm in Crimson Swirl
    Strop:SRD PIV English Bridle
    Soap:MDC
Razor: Filarmonica D.T. 14 (1st shave since restoration, read about it here)
    After shave: Alt-Innsbrook
    EDT: Creed Vetiver
Honing Progression Norton 1k/4k/8k, Asagi, Shoobie Dooby Asagi, Escher

Result:Today was my first shave since returning from the Mid-MO meetup (see this thread for pics and such). I learned a ton, met some amazing people, and got to hang with some very talented people. I learned that my honing is doing well & that my stropping technique was off and now that it is fixed my edges feel more amazing than ever. I was so stoked to come home and get this razor cleaned up, dressed and ready to shave. The shave was amazing and the edge she took was the best I've put on a blade. All in all, I can just say WOW!

Thanks for all the great pics and posts gentlemen! I love this place!!!

I surprised my wife this afternoon and took her for a nice lunch. I had a nice day today.

    Hot shower
    Warm oil
    Dirty Bird Scuttle
Proraso SC with a bit if glycerine
    Genco Easy Aces
    SRD 50 felt 100 leather
    AOS Aluminum
    Lilac Vegetal
    Nancy Boy After shave Gel

I thought this razor needed a refresh. After the good stropping it gave a really nice shave.

    Enjoy the evening!

    Robert,

Thanks...It was for the Lutheran Child and Family Services.

BTW...My church's team placed second in the outing. Each member of my team received a gift certificate for golf apparel/ equipment at the golf course's pro-shop.

I just read here that Blugill (Mark) has passed away suddenly. May he rest in eternal peace. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. It's been a rough year for the SRP & SOTD community.

Wow! What a complete shock. Mark and I often joked that we were brothers from different mothers. May he rest in eternal peace with plenty of cold PBRs and enough good fishing spots to fish every day for an eternity and never fish the same place twice. My thoughts, prayers and condolences go out to his family. Suggest tomorrow we all bust a Blugill shave in rememberance of our fallen friend. I'll be bustin out the 1910 Gem Lather Catcher and going for a catfish's belly smooth shave.
