    Jeff,

Relax chief. Remember, you didn't marry your wife because of her politics.

Oh brother...these kinds of squabbles happen in the best of marriages. Just remember the day you said "I do" and I am sure you'll have a BIG smile on your face.

Aloe is great for skin, but I do not know if it is soluble in alcohol. Personally, I'd keep them separate. I am using the closest thing you can get to perfumer's alcohol in my country. It's an 85%/170 proof, unscented alcohol originally sold for use as disinfectant. People use vodka because of the neutral smell (but it is low in alcohol and so easily goes cloudy). I hear everclear should work?

    Good morning friends!

    PREP: Proraso Preshave Cream
BRUSH: SIMPSON CHUBBY 2 Best Badger
SOAP/CREAM: Art Shaving Lemon Shaving Cream
    STROP: Kanayama Cordovan #30000
    RAZOR: J.A. HENCKELS Zwillingswerk 38 1/2 *
SHAVE: 2 passes, WTG / XTG
    AS: Alt-Innsbruck
    RESULT: Wonderful shave

    * That old Henckels brought my wife for me in an antique store in Santiago de Chile on her trip in the spring. After some honing I have been rewarded with a excellent razor.

    Good morning.

    Revisor 6/8 : Valobra Menthol : Semogue 2000 : Proraso pre/post cream

No picture today but a good shave nonetheless. Technique is gradually improving, now I try XTG and ATG as well and things are going very well.
The Revisor is a very nice razor, today I was careful with my technique and got very good results.

PS: I didn't know your boy was shaving age already!! Must have been double the pleasure for both father and son. Sounds like he's off to a great start.
Thank you Robert! Well, he´s only 14, but he actually needs a shave once a week or so (he´s a big boy, very close to 180 cm now and he has out grown me recently )

Also new to my collection is this beautiful Morris & Forndran brush in bone handle. Gave her a good cleaning and she returned the favor by exposing me to her fabulous backbone and ultra soft tips (Shhhh....don't tell my wife ).
W O W ! ! Cheers for a great score on Ebay what a nice razor (and brush)!
