Today I arrived home and felt adventurous. I prepared an early dinner to surprise my wife and daughters. I whipped up a bit of Italian Sausage with Broccoli Rabe over Penne Pasta. After dinner I took a nice shower and am now prepared to take the wife out for desert.
Shower
Warm Oil
Dirty Bird Scuttle
Gentleman's Best Signature series soap with glycerin
Custom Badge Brush
Kinsyo Frame Back
SRD P1 Felt and leather
AOS Aluminum
Pinaud Clubman
Vaseline for me.
This razor is heavy in the hand but glides easily. I honed it a while back as one of my first. It retained a nice edge and did a great job.
Enjoy the evening.

Monroe,
I love it...begin and end this shave with Arlington. In between there's an excellent Tulip and a strikingly beautiful Henckels. My hat's off to you my friend
I don't know Julian...that's not the Faultless' fault, it's the whiskers that grow too slow, LOL. We have to fix your genes buddy, LOOOOL. Rene has the same problem.
There she is again. I love it Julian
Thank you for the info Konstantinos. I don't know, maybe these perfumers are being stingy with their new formulations. The old stock "stuff" definitely carry more "umphhh" so t speak. I also like the Opus. very nice subtle scent.
Thanks for the kind words about the frameback. It's one I snatched from Max when I visited him in Oct last year.
Fantastic setup as always Teiste
José,
Iberia + Sunrise = Heaven. I love this shot. It's so heavenly. Thank you for sharing a piece of your world with us
Micahel,
Excellent shot and shave. Welcome to the SOTD brotherhood
Rum,
Just one word: FAN-FREAKIN'-TASTIC!!!!!!
Thank you Sachin for both the info and the kind words. I hav ebeen contemplating the "Ox&Cam" scent from them, but not sure yet. If it's anything similar to the #88, then I would rather wait. Thoughts/advice?
Sten,
Sounds like that meeting was straight up fun. I am jealous. Beautiful blade btw and kudos to Birnando for honing her up for you...He sure knows what he's doing when it comes to honing and anything shaving related and unrelated. I bet you got to see some wonderful collection of stones and blades. I am doubly jealous.
I love you man...You're such a gentleman. But, I must say your post is making me realize I am famished...Time for dinner for us and wife's cooked up something special (don't know what. She won't say, but it sure smells great). Glad you enjoyed the evening buddy
That Kinsyo looks amazing btw
And me: Hungry, LOL
I love that Boker of yours Frank. Wonderful shave
Nice SOTD Paul...and a beautiful blade. SRD soaps are amazing btw.
Thank you Paul
Thank you José,
She is indeed. One of top Maxterpieces.
Great...Tomorrow, we'll probably have 5 SOTDs featuring a Malcuto, LOOOOL

Thanked: 33Feather popular/Rapira Blade/Fullers synthetic brush/ Arko SC
The feather popular seems to work better with a more forgiving blade. The Rapira delivered. A three pass DFS with out any irritation. The synthetic brush left a lot to be desired. I will re-knot it with a Turkish horsehair #6 and hopefully turn it into something special. All and all a good shave.
