    Monroe,
This Dovo may have been stamped as the Black Star, but you receive the Gold Star with this shave. Well done

    Sten,
What honing regimen are you thinking about using with this beauty?

What a touching tribute to a great friend. Nicely done David

    Paul,
You show off, LOOOL. Love that Puma. Also, you seem to be quite the artisan-type with that uber of yours.

Now, there's a man who knows the important stuff. I had a lot of respect for you Jeff before (conservative or not), but now I must say that with this gesture, you have just moved up the ladder of respect in my book. The shave doesn't even come close to being as good as this. Well done my friend.

SC: Tailor of Old Bond Street St James Collection
    After: Block Osma
Balm: Nivea after shave balm sensitive
    Edt: Davidoff Adventure

Result: Not super but given that I am a beginner not bad. I still have a face that I can abuse tomorrow with a new razor attack. Its a beautiful day outside a bit windy but the sun i shining !!! Beginner tip of the day: DO NOT put the razor on top of the ear when going for the sideburn elimination IT HURTS AND BLEEDS ;-)

    Vulfix Persian Musk

St James Mandarin & Patchouli gel balm
St James Cedarwood & Clary sage.

Very enjoyable shave, picked up three St James products from T K Max, Eau de cologne, shaving cream and gel balm, bargain price, good stuff, two pass shave with minor clean up, second shave with the feather blade, feels good, will I dare take to a third shave? Started restoring two Kropp razors over the last few days, binned the scales, got them looking very good after many hours hand polishing and buffing, then disaster I dropped one on the floor and it cracked, well I dont like to dwell on these things, but I was seriously pissed of!

    Default Meet-up time

Today we are having a little mini meet-up here at my place in Oslo. I look forward to that

Pre-Shave: a cool shower, it's hot here today
    Brush: Thäter 25mm Silver tip
Razor: Devin Thomas Custom, 6/8", Feather Damascus, French point, Fozzilised Mammoth bone
Strop: Kanayama #90000, tri-strop, Cordovan Shell
    Soap/Cream:Castle Forbes Lime
    Scuttle:Schwarzweisskeramik, Large White
    Astringent: Alum
After shave Balm: Castle Forbes Lime
    EdT: Acqua di Parma Colonia
Results: Castle Forbes is such a wonderful cream, this thing whips up beautifully moisturizing lather. Then again, most creams do when faced with the Thäter and those fine silver tips! The Devin Thomas razor was my most challenging hone job to date. I'm glad I stuck with it though, because it now shaves with the very best of them. And it seems to hold that edge very well
