Thanks Robert; you know something? after reading all the hype about Creed, and seeing them available here (at exactly the same prices like in the U.K.) I gave them a go. Got Aventus and Mill. Imperial.
For me, longevity is an issue with both of them. I had higher expectations, but perhaps it's my skin. The Mill. Imperial is nice, but nothing extraordinary to be honest, at least not what I would expect after paying so much. A refined masculine scent, but in most cases so far I would prefer to wear the Opus by Penhaligons, for example. I still think the Mill. Imperial is slightly more multi-dimensional than the Opus, nonetheless I have yet to find something so very special about it.
In any case I'm still a novice with perfumes, so a lot more use of this Creed beauty is required to have a more concrete opinion...
Gorgeous that frameback of yours is, by the way...

.Razor:IBERIA 13 Doble Temple Strop: Pressed wool+latigo (25/50) Brush:Kim Son Vu Handicraft silvertip in buffalo horn lather:Christian Dior "Eau sauvage" SC + Ingram AS: Thayer's Witch Hazel astringent EdT:Annick Goutal, eau du sud Comments:The shaving cream alliance has give to the good perfomance of Ingram the top scent of the Eau Sauvage SC. The Kimson has no problems to get the best lather from a shaving cream. The Iberia have visited the C12K to improve the edge, I have enjoyed a smooth shave, specially against the grain. I am not a great fan of the Trumper's skinfood, but this time it works for me.

Thanks Robert. QED vetiver is a strong straight up vetiver and that's how I like my vetiver
Love your SOTD post from today. Have to agree, the C&S #88 is a top-notch soap but the scent just doesn't do it for me. Have you tried the C&S Oxford and Cambridge shave soap?

Good evening Gentlemen!
Shave prep: Face wash
Brush: Omega boar brush
Soap: C&E Nomad
Razor: Dixie Blue Steel, 5/8 hollow
Honing progression: J-nats (Oozuku w Botan, Tenjou and Tomonagura)
Strop: Kanayama 90k
After Shave Splash: Lavender spice, home blended
Notes: I had a lot of fun with today's shave. This was the first razor I restored and honed myself. I also brought this razor to today's meeting in Oslo, where Birnando was kind enough to hone it up for me on J-nats. This also made it the first razor I shaved with off of J-nats as well, and I am happy to say I now know what that is all about. All in all a brilliant shave tonight.
Have a great evening folks.
