Thank you Frank...They're not all that pricey, imo ($150 or so shipped). You just have to know where to look, LOL

    Sten,
Now that is worthy of a celebration. Congratulations on getting the edge that she deserves. Well done

Gillette Old Style head on Star handle/Perma-Sharp Blade/Burma Shave soap/Omega Mighty Midget Brush/Polar Ice AS/Tet-a-Tet Russian ASB

Yesterdays shave with the old style was so good I had to repeat it. The Handle from the Star adds the heft that I've found old style's to lack. The Burma shave soap gives a great tallow lather with a very soapy smell. It's a worthy addition to a vintage OS mug. Too bad production of the soap was stopped over 5 years ago. The lather explodes like Arko, smells like williams, but is slick like MWF. A heavenly soap by my standards. The shave was so good, I broke down and used the Tet-a-Tet ASB which I ration and only use on special occasions. As I'm not sure if I'll be able to find another vendor that carries it since Britivia closed. All in all a remarkable shave to start the day.

    Great shaves today, Gentlemen

    My Fellow SRP Members,

Thank you for all your birthday well-wishes. I am most grateful. You are a great group of people.

It is kindnesses, such as that, which make SRP, more than merely the original shaving forum.

You make it a great forum.

    Take care--and continued smooth shaving.
