Thanks, Robert. Yes, I am lined up to join a new company at the end of July. Meanwhile, I shall be going island-hopping around the Med starting next week!!! I guess the sad news is that I won't be able to post on SRP until I am back - but I will try!

    Monroe,
Hard to imagine that just a couple of short months ago, you guys were stuck in a winter deep freeze...Mother nature is quite temperamental, ain't she? Gorgeously refreshing and coooooool shave brother

I love the attitude David. Well said brother. Moreover, the journey keeps getting better and funner by the day. To increase the pleasure extracted from this journey, I am trying to add to the time of the shave rather than quicken the pace, LOL

Notes: I rehoned this razor today and shaved right off the oozuku, so Mr Strop just had to look at the show in envy. It gave a surprisingly smooth shave. No nicks, no irritation, truly a great shave. I love spices as well, clove, cinnamon and black pepper over a sandalwood base - I feel great.
What a beautiful satisfying shave Sten. Well done my friend. Gorgeous TI and congratulations on getting her edge dialed right in. As for the spices, I had Al make me a custom scented shave creme that is comprised on exactly the same EOs. I love this spicy scent (especially the black pepper/cloves combo)...You have good taste buddy

Very nice indeed Amund...Enjoy her for years to come. I am sure she will be a friendly monster indeed, LOL.

If there was an SOTD magazine of some sort, this shot needs to go on the cover. Beautiful José.

Come to think of it: Why isn't there an SOTD magazine???? Max can be editor in chief.

Thank you buddy...It was a lucky find. But, I would rather be lucky than good, LOL. Enjoy your time with your nephew. I am sure he's more than happy to be back in the US.

I was without internet for several days due to storms and then work this week was terrible (my shortest day was 12 hours, my boss was let go, and new senior leadership is not offering any advancement, rather they are bringing in people from their old company). I try very hard not to tie my self worth to the work place, yet I must confess that I do to often. All in all, I'm glad this week is over and quite frankly wish I could erase it.

I didn't shave over this past weekend and took pictures each day (the last pic was the same shave for both days due to a touchup on the hones). I've got some posts to read over and get caught up, but as usual, you're posts bring a smile to my face. Pardon my lack of participation this week, I missed it more than I can say & sorry for venting.

Happy Birthday Monroe (sorry I missed it!).
