    Have a MARVELOUS Wednesday Gentlemen.
Beautiful photo as ever BladeRunner! I do love that brush

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
Brush: Omega Pure Badger (with cracked handle i just realized )
Razor: Best Qual. Silver Steel "Hamburg Ring"
Strop: 30 laps (SRD RED LATIGO STROP WITH LEATHER HANDLE)
    Creme: CADE + Glycerin
    Astringent Alumn bloc
    After Shave Splash: Pinnaud Clubman
    Cologne: Juicy Couture "Dirty English"
Results: I returned home from the beach (sans wife and 5 kids) and have a quiet house to work in as I finish up the week. Decided to start it off with a good shave. I received a beatiful Silver Steel "Hamburg Ring" razor in the mail from Zephyr (on the B&B forums) while I was away. I also was graciously sent a sample of L'Occitane Cade shaving cream from Mvcrash (I posted in the Soaps and Creams forum about whether the stuff was really worth the expense). As I sit here typing, after finishing my shave and taking pics, I can still smell the cade sent and it is very pleasing Zeyphr honed the blade to perfection, packed it well and it gave me a fantastic shave.

It has been a Month since Mark has passes. I chose to dedicate this shave to Mark. I used his Kobar which i bought from him just before he passed. I will always treasure it. He is truely missed.

Woooooo hooooo on the vacation. And I totally understand the sentiment for wanting to have another go with this wedge. Beautiful blade for sure

    David,
This requires serious measures buddy. Looks like you've gone off the deep end. One of the hold fast rules of wetshaving is NEVER to fall in love, LOOOOOOOOL.

Great photo, great gear, but then again, what else is new?

Oh yes Sir, I've learned my lession

As this one was very arc shaped, I decided to try something new with it.
Basically I did the entire honing on the side of my Chosera's. It was a bit tricky, but the results was surprisingly good. Then I finished it on a small Oozuku, using slurry, then diluting to water.
    Thank you Birnando.

    LOOOL on the lesson.

+100 on the honing. Well done buddy. Heal well

Simple but elegant shave for in the mountains. My new mug offers the best lather I have ever witnessed, keeping it warm by simply soaking the mug in HOT water first. It stayed warm thru 2 passes.
Beautiful and elegant "mountain" shave MJ...Great gear. Congrats on the new mug by the wife. Kudos to her as well. Idlewild is a very fun place to do mountaineering/hiking. Enjoy
