I decided to treat nyself today to a nice Fili shave. Bayrum and Tabac. Not the best choice because the Tabac overpowered the Bayrum. My little container of Calypso dried out other wise i would ahve used her. Awesome Post guys. Beautiful Gear.

Beautiful razor, my friend! I'm not a fan of the Ogalalla scent, but I always loved how it made my skin feel. Their AS just keeps warming and warming and warming...feels great!

The SS Love fest continues. The wee scot held just enough lather for 2 passes and a touch up. The rich creamy Florena added luxury to this very simple shave. And well, the Vintage Skin Bracer hasn't lost a step. The perfect end to a fine shave.

    Great shaves today, Gentlemen.

    Default Tuesday

My street is undergoing major repairs by the city in preparation for the 2012 NFL Super Bowl that may never happen because of the lockout. The entrance to my driveway disappeared this morning in a cloud of concrete dust from a diamond saw, a dump truck and a backhoe--replaced with a one foot deep hole in the ground. I had to move fast in my shave den to avoid being marooned in my driveway.

Prep: Hot shower–followed by Robeson bay rum (mentholated) beard prep method
SS: Mama Bear’s “Lime Ice” Lime and Menthol
    Brush: Semogue 830 Boar Hair
Razor: Merkur 34C HD w/ Lord “Platinum Class” stainless blade
    Astringent: Thayers “Lemon” Witch Hazel
ASB: Mama Bear’s “Lime Ice” Summer Aftershave Balm
    AS: Booster “Polar Ice”
Result: Very speedy, but close, comfortable shave

WOW! Well look at it this way. At least your city fixes the sidewalks and roads. LOL! I cant say that about mine. Atleast not in my area.

Same here! We even have an expensive tollway system that is supposed to fund these luxurious autobahn-esque streets. And what do we get? Potholes so big you can bathe in them. Wonder where all that money is going...
