Prep: Hot Shower, Baby Oil Gel
Razor: W.C. Horn Bros. Extra Hollow Ground
    Brush: Semogue 1305
Cream: TOBS Eton College (Love this stuff!)
    AS: Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Finish: English Leather Cologne

Three passes, smooth as a catfish's belly. I'm beginning to believe that this razor and the Cosmo are probably the most under rated in my rotation. No stash wax today, just brushed it out and called it good. Think I'll burn one of these stogies on the way to work, just for fun. Have a great day fellas

Robert, I normally go for dark scales but I love the color scheme of this razor. Since the last time you posted it here, its been floating around in the back of my head. Just got to find the right candidate and I want to make some Ivory scales, just beautiful. I notice it made the Featured SOTD too!

    Prep: Hot Shower/Hot Towel
    Strop: Osgar Vintage Shell Horse
    Brush: FS Finest Badger
    Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Razor: Royal Invicta 6/8
    Astringent: Thayer's Lemon W/H
    Balm: C.O. Bigelow Mentha
    A/S: Wahl Bay Rum
Last time I shaved with the Invicta I started to think maybee the edge could use a little work and tonight confirmed it for me. Still a good shave but I know from experience it can be better. Seeing as my wife has been hogging the computer all night I pulled out the hones and gave it a touch up already and it looks like the edge is much better. I'll just have to wait 24 hours to find out

    Tuesday

No pic today and a DE shave as I was in a rush

Edwin Jagger DE 89 with a Gillette Superthin blade
Tabac Soap on an omega 81052 boar brush
    Alum, Tabac ASL

Good enough, 2 passes, not as satisfying as a str8 shave.
    Regards
    Nic

Thank you all for your support for Norway these last few days. We had a rose march here in Oslo yesterday in memory of the events. Too many people showed up so we could not march, some estimates say 250 000 people were out on the streets in Oslo, carrying flowers. The message was loud and clear anyways. It was overwhelming.

    Have a nice day Gentlemen.

It pressed into my container just like soft serve ice cream!
Don't worry about sending some of the tube...I've already tried it and wasn't too crazy about lather. The softness of the RR soap is just like Cella (maybe a bit softer)...I really like it

first time using the Botanics face scrub, very nice not to aggressive as some scrubs can be. two pass shave super smooth very enjoyable.
    Jamie,
What's in the Botanics (ingredient list)?

    PS: Nice Sandalwood-based shave buddy

Result: With all the Tabac on display this week, I realized I hadn't used it in quite some time. The scent of Tabac is just ok IMHO, but the cushion and glide of this uberlather is amazing. 2 passes and the Geneva laid to waste the whiskers on my face. I'm BBS and headed to the office.
    Glenn,
Now, that's what I call a satisfying shave. BEAUTIFUL...Have a great day at the office

    Grant,
I know what you mean...I am usually for the darker scales too, but this Ivory (as well as the Camel G10 Max has) really is a work of art. You won't be disappointed. Maybe your "Mutant #4" can go into an ivory scales? just a thought

PS; Thanks for the heads up on the featured SOTD...Didn't see that. Thanks Max

I love this Invicta Grant...I am glad you didn't wait to dial her edge in...I am sure she will be ready for action by tomorrow.

PS: Looks like you guys may need a second computer, LOL

That's for sure Nic...but hey, it happens sometimes. Hang in there, the next str8 shave is right around the corner

    Sten,
There's no messing with the masses. When the people rise, there's always a message to be had. And whoever is on the other end, better be listening. Congrats to the people of Norway for making their voices heard.

PS: Your shave today was also speaking loud and clear. Beautiful W&B
