OMG José, Consider yourself very very lucky. That almost never happens. Results are usually not thinkable. I am very happy to learn that she's perfectly fine
Buffff, Robert, what a painful situation, but I am gulty, I was using a straight razor holder ( a gift from Maite, my barber) and it was difficult to keep its balance ... then I'm happy too to receipt only a lesson and not the true punishment that it would be the lost of the maxterpiece....

I agree, I consider me very lucky... to post among you and enjoy this site with such a great people as you Robert,....the razors are important, but I am sure that we are here for the friendship

great shave with that Spartacus...What a beautiful razor she is. I am curious about the "Weapon's Grade" Fragrance you used today...Tell me more about it.

Hey Bladerunner, as you are aware I've been in Qatar for a while (4 years). the locals (Qataris) are always immaculately turned out, and 95% of the time are dressed in traditional clothes, pristine white thobes. They are very well groomed and tend to sport quite sharply sculpted beards. this interest in grooming extends into fragrances, which are extremely important in their culture. This means that most of the local fragrances whilst often being very pleasant, are extremely strong and long lasting, therefore should be applied sparingly, hence the weapons grade comment.
Hello easyace , I am living in UAE since 2006 if talking about alocal fragrances specialy for after shaving lotion and balm its very poor market ,only Nivea and Gellette or even any accessories for shaving (Brushs, DE razor ,Blade ) all should be orderd online

    Razor: W&B, for barbers use

    Prep: Hot Water Rubdown
    Strop: 40/70 linen-to-latigo
    Brush: AOS Pure Badger
Razor: Greaves 7/8 wedge with custom bloodwood scales
Soap: The talented Mr. Martin De Candre
Results: This is my 4th or 5th shave with MdC, and I'm still trying to figure out the right water balance. I keep feeling that I'm adding too much, but the soap feels like it's drying out my skin, which I'm more inclined to believe would indicate too much soap. Either way, it's a beautiful shave soap with an intoxicating scent.

Sorry for the recent lack if activity on here, gentlemen. I was a leader for pre-k VBS last week and came home drained every night. 20-25 3 and 4 year-olds tend to do that. Been trying to keep up with all the posts, though. Beautiful shaves, my friends.

    Prep:Hot Shower
    Scuttle:Dirty Bird custom double
Brush:TGN 30mm Premium A in Black & Red Mokume M3 (see more pics here)
    Strop:SRD PIV English Bridle
Cream:Custom Frankincense, Myrrh, & Vetiver Bomb
    Razor: Wade & Butcher
After shave: Al's shaving FMV Custom ASB
    EDT: Cartier Roadster

Result:A fantastic 2 pass shave this morning. The new 30mm brush is a beast and built a beautiful lather. I need to work her a bit to get rid of the “skunk” smell from the new knot. Have a fantastic day gentlemen!
