Evening: a very late shave (the fragrances of Wilkinson SS and 4711 work GREAT together, and 444 just added that extra "mentholated kick" ).
Morning: business visit to Brijuni National Park (Croatia) – is there a beter place for a SOTD photo

    - Shower + Alverde Men Waschgel mit Guaranaextrakt – Erfrishend,
    - Johnson's Baby Oil with Aloe Vera,
    - Semogue 2000,
    - Wilkinson Sword SS (Blue Bowl),
    - George Wostenholm & Son "Pipe Razor", 9/16, extra full hollow, singing, plum scales,
    - Bloc Osma,
    - 4711 Original EDC + 444 Para Depois de Barbear.

    Just before I arrived there:

I saw this nice yacht - Bon Jovi was there to:

He said for the local papers that he enjoyed his visit to the National Park...
Well, Brijuni are the place where Roman emperors build their summer mansions, so...
    Have a nice day gents!

Either that or your face is to small

I always love to see a JC. Nice setup GG! Glad to see you got your camera fired up. You must be exhausted by now.

Post Week of August 7 SOTD - Wednesday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
    Brush: 24mm Shavemac Silvertip Badger
Razor/Blade: Deluxe Vintage DE / Bolzano superinox inossidable blades
Überlather: Al's "Vetiver" Shave Creme + SRD "Vetiver" Shave Soap + Glycerin
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol)
    Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer
After Shave Splash: Floïd Italian Amber AS
    Cologne: Creed "Original Vetiver" EdT
Results: DE was in order for today and what a fine shave it was using the Bolzano blade. I am beginning to really like the edge on these. They actually perform better after they've been broken in. As per my wife's suggestion, Vetiver was the going scent for today. BBS and ready to start the day.

    Have a GREAT Wednesday gentlemen.

    Default Wednesday evening

I've been out and about all day, a shower and shave was just what I needed

    Pre-Shave: A hot shower
    Brush: TOBS Super Badger, 30mm
Razor: Filarmonica, Especial para barbas duras, #14
    Strop: Neil Miller Cordovan Shell
    Soap/Cream: Floris Elite Shaving Soap
    Scuttle:Schwarzweisskeramik, Large White
    Astringent: Osma Alum
    After shave Balm: Floris Elite
    EdT: Floris Elite
Results: The pinnacle of straight razor shaving must be something very similar to this
A very close and comfortable shave. Floris is impressive in every way, and the NM strop is superb.

    L'Occitane Verbena soap
    Razor Iron Duke 6/8
    Simpsons Chubby 2
    Vulfix Persian musk
    Alum + Distilled Witch Hazel
    L'Occitane Bavx Balm
    L'Occitane Bavx EDT

    Jamie

Took the Iron Duke back to the hones, re-profiled on the 1200, then onto the 6000, then to the 8000, then using my two paddle strops with different grade strop pastes, she shaved very well, no complaints.
