Nice! Never go against SWMBO when they encourage our addiction!

Took the Fili over the hones a bit last night ending at .25 micron. Awesome shave today but wow watch out this girl took a piece of thin skin off and I never knew it on the jaw. I wasn't deep and didn't even know to bleed until after I was done cleaning up. Great Uber today. I was cleaning up blades all morning on the wheel's and then took SWMBO out to lunch. Now back to the fun work!!! Have a great day all!

I would just like to be able to shave twice a day when i want to.

Thank you. It took 2 trips to an antique store before she would give me a price. She had about 10 razors and would just say. Well i havent priced them yet. This was 3 months apart. I had to convince her to price them. You would think a store would like to sell something when someone is interested.
baldy, Mvcrash and sharp like this.

    Good evening guys!

    Shave prep: Face wash
    Brush: Omega boar # 81052
    Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Razor: Platipus 88, 5/8 spike hollow ground
    Strop: nun2sharp's hanging leather strop
    After Shave Splash: Vetiver blend
Notes: Late shave for me today, yesterday's overindulgence in hunt for BBS left it's mark in the growth department. Only did 1 pass today, this razor did not require any more. Oh, and I love the vetiver so much I had to wear it again today.

After a long hot day, it was nice to shower and shave.
    Warm Shower
    Dirty Bird Scuttle
    Custom Badger
    Nancy Boy Signature SC
    Henckels 7/8 Full Hollow
    Ambrose 40 linen 75 Leather
    AOS Aluminum
    Gentleman's Best AS Milk
    Vaseline for men.

Today's shave was silky smooth. Dave (Cannonfodder) put an edge on this razor that continues to be really smooth. I've not had to touch it other than stropping. The Nancy boy whipped up really well and was thick and creamy.
The Gentleman's Best AS milk is kinda weird. It does not seem to soak into the skin OR I use way too much. It has a nice aroma and after I towel off the wetness is very nice.
All in all, an A+ shave tonight.

    Enjoy the evening

Excellent progression on a beautiful Duke Jamie. Well done
