    Good evening Gents!

    Shave prep: Face wash
    Brush: Haryali badger
    Soap: Crabtree & Evelyn, Nomad
Razor: Thiers-Issard Le Dandy, 6/8 hollow round point
    Strop: nun2sharp's hanging leather strop
After Shave Splash: Coffee, home blend
Notes: New aftershave splash today, my own coffee brew. Coffee with myrrh and sweet orange, I can see this will be much used during this fall. I did not use my scuttle today, so my lather was cold. I'll use it all the time from now I think. Great slow shave, alone at home so I could enjoy some loud music while shaving. Nice relaxing self time, smooth BBS.

    Default Thursday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
    Brush: Simpson Wee Scot
    Razor: C.V. Heljestrand 6/8 Frameback
    Honing Regimen: Shapton 1.5/5/8K / Naniwa 10K Shapton 30K -> 0.25µ poly diamond> 0.1µ CBN> 0.050µ poly diamond> 0.025µ poly diamond.
    Strop: 60 Legion "Moo"
    Soap/Cream: Palmolive Stick
    Astrigent: Alum Block
After shave: Old Spice White Water
Results: Time to test the second razor I got back with this paste treatment, this one felt a little bit sharper than the Fili, but still not what I would call extremly much sharper than what I'm used to, but to my surprise this one was smoother, I had expected the opposite. A nice, comfortable BBS shave.

Need help or tutoring? Check out the  .

Razor: Wade & Butcher for Barber's Use. I have been restoring two W&B's lately and this is one of them; this is a big blade, heavy and phenomenal steel. I believe this razor dates back to 1845 and it still performs!

    SC: Erasmic
    AS:Aqua Velva Ice Blue
Results: BBS and now that I have an adjustible mirror in the shave den; I don't need my glasses any more.HOG

Robert, thanks for the detailed response, I've copied and pasted it to try in the near future.

    GB Kent T4

Unusual for me to have a night time shave, but sometimes it just can't be helped!
