That razor looks awesome, and the brush too.
I'm glad to see it behaved better this time around!

    Strop: Hoffritz
Razor: TI Grelot in Desert Ironwood

This razor is fairly new to me and I don't have the edge quite to my liking yet so it's back to the honing stone.

Result: How can you go wrong with a combination like this. I had to end this week on a strong note, and this beauty from Gabor certainly did that. A great week of shaves all around, gentlemen, and I wish you the best of weekends!

    Default Been a long day

My day started at 2 am when my wife noticed our son Jack (who was in bed with us) felt hot. He had a temp of 38.5 C, when Jack gets over 38 degrees the procedure is to get him straight to hospital for a minimum of 48 hours of I.V. antibiotics. When he and I arrived at the hospital he had dropped to 37.8, and three hours later when we saw a doctor he was down to 37.6 So fortunately they let us go home. We got home at 6 am. just in time for a coffee before heading off to work. Fortunately Jacks temp has been stable all day.
I'm so tired I almost didn't shave, but instead decided to go the other way and have a nice luxurious Uber-lather 3 pass shave.
    Strop: MickR's Roo Hide
    Brush: FS Fine Badger
Uber: Proraso + Faulding cream + Glycerin
    Razor: John Hassall 6/8 Wedge
    Astringent: Thayer's Lemon Witch Hazel
    Balm: C.O. Bigelow Mentha
    A/S: Wahl Bay Rum
Result: Very glad I shaved tonight. Its amazing how good a fine shave can make you feel.
Absolute BBS. Cant wait to get to bed though.

    Grant,

Hope Jacky is feeling better. I doubt there is anything that can compare to having your child take ill. My prayers are with you.

Thanks mate. He is a tough guy. Over the last year and a half he has had literally hundreds and hundreds of injections, I was so happy to be able to take him hope without one this time.

Very good news (considering), Grant. I was very concerned when I started reading your SOTD post. Thank goodness he is okay!
