Monday
Had a 6:30 A. M. appointment with the eye doctor this morning. Not a lot of time to shave. Couldn't wear any fragrance either, so I resorted to what I call a bare bones shave. Believe me, it was nothing to write home about. My shaving routine will return to normal tomorrow.

Hot Shower / OBR Glycerine Soap / Hair Conditioner Genco Master Barber's 9/16 WD 24mm Silvertip 3" Big Daddy 50/100 TOBS Sandalwood Creme Ali Biliyki Alum Lucky Tiger AS Splash Pinaud Clubman AS
This razor looks a little rough, but it is one great shaver. 2 passes is all that is required. I still haven't figured out the TOBS. I keep thinking I'm using too much and wasting it, it makes so much lather. On the face, in the bowl, it doesn't matter, it just keeps going. (I think I'm finding a favorite..).
Everything about this shave just felt 'old', so my pic tries to leave the same feeling.
Happy Shaving!!

Last nights shave
Prep: Hot shower
Brush: Omega synthetic
Cream: Cella
Mug: Slightly less than honkin' white coffee mug
Razor: 6/8 Dovo Special
Strop: Walking Horse english bridle w/canvas second 40 canvas 60 leather
Post shave: Alum from Asian market
It had been 3 or 4 days since I shaved last and it was wonderfull. I enjoy being clean shaven (with the exception of my handlebar) but on the same token I also thoroughly enjoy the change from scruffy to silky smooth.
Shave on,
Michael

I'm afraid not. It would also be hard to be certain with no maker's mark. Personally, I'd guess it's an english make. The regency stamp was introduced in the 1820s, so the lack of one does not conclude. Also, I have a feeling german razors were later in the market than sheffield. Perhaps someone will correct me on this, but I have not seen many wedges from germany.
