    September 7st SOTD
Prep: hot shower and lingering lather
    Brush: Rooney Silvertip
    Soap: Proraso
Razor: A.P. Wendell and Co Warranted
    Post: RazoRock Alum

SOTD posts (and SRP) have been on the back burner for a while, but some new stuff came in the mail from the Italian Barber so I figure I would put some time in a post.
The shave was good considering I had to rush a bit and only managed on pass and a quick touch up (luckily no nicks!) and I am just beginning to venture into shaving creams so my lather needs adjustment which time did not allow.
The Razorock alum was a bit of a shock. It was my first time using it and it carries a bit of a bite. It also seems to do its job as 12 hrs later my face feels great.
I hope to scan through a good whack of SOTD posts this evening with a nice Whiskey!

    Have a great week!

Now that it's planned out, I can hardly wait till the kids are in bed! If I try to shave before they're asleep, they tend to distract me at the worst possible moments, leading to excess usage of styptic....
That sounds like a great plan. Love the soap and the razor is certainly going to be exceptional. kids are always the Wild card in the equation...any equation, LOOOL. Looking forward to the report

Pulled the words right out of my mouth Rune. Fantastic combo indeed. And the shot is very creative (suited for Halloween too)

LOOOOOL...I remember those days in TX (don't miss it though). We're having bouts of 100+ here in LA too. Great Henckels Paul

I should start this off by extending a massive thank you to Konstantinos for generously giving me the brush. It is my 1st usage of a Simpson brush and, as I had been assured, now I see what all the fuss is about. The Sprock as ever performed faultlessly, it makes me wonder why I ever bother with another razor but then again using others put into perspective how good it really is.
    Nic,
Congrats on the brush. Simpson makes great quality products for sure. Kudos to Konstantinos for gifting it to you. That Sprock is amazing too. What a nice shave

    Teiste,
A shave by any other quality would have been a waste. Well done my friend

    Rum,
What happened? I must have missed something...I hope you're OK.

    Jeff,
Sorry about the burn and the rushed shave, but great purchase with teh raoRock. it is an awesome soap/creme. The raw almond scent is one of the best I have smelled (similar to Acca Kappa). it is amazing stuff (especially for the price).

    PS: Beautiful skyline shot

    Dunc,
You were missed buddy. Great to see you back bro and congrats on the new RazoRock Alum. Just ordered me some of the RR Balm and some other AS from them today. The RR product lines have been nothing short of impressive to me

Thanks for your concern, Robert. Really nothing too serious... I had a small thing removed from a finger on one hand yesterday, so I have a rather large wound on it and hence can't get it wet. Nothing serious at all though and looks a lot worse than it is. I should be back in the shaving sink on Sunday, hopefully!

Comments: My new razor. It arrived yesterday. Today is not a working day here in Andorra, and I wanted to use it, but anxiety has made me forget to strop it. I had to stop shaving and I started again. Very good shave anyway.

    Today only guest star.

    Have a nice day.
