Thanks a lot, I noticed your post regarding the wooden boats, and saw you were in San Sebastian, I drove through there once, and enjoyed many summer holidays in San Vincente Northern Spain, the beautiful Basque country, I hope to go there again one day. PS I also remember being there on one of the most joyous days of celebration among the Basque people iv'e ever seen back in 1975 when Franco died.

Thanked: 1185Prep: Hot Water Wash
Razor: Imperial Extra Hollow Ground
Brush: Omega Boar
Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat

What a great shave. Superior edge on this razor and I'm sure the Nivea handled whatever was left of that irritation from yesterday.

Prep:Hot Shower, Sandalwood Pre-shave oil
Scuttle:Dirty Bird custom double
Brush:TGN 24mm TGN Premium A Silvertip in custom Crimson swirl handle
Strop:SRD PIV English Bridle
Cream: Boheme bomb
Razor: Herbertz
After shave: Alt-Innsbrook
EDT: Burberry Weekend
Result:”Tombstone” is one of my all time favorite movies. I never stopped to think about if the Earps and Doc Holiday were put on trial for the shoot out at the OK Coral. What an interesting read.
I had been wanting to try the Boheme cream from Al's Shaving so I bit the bullet on my most recent order. The floral notes balance nicely with a woody undertone and the wife absolutely loves it. 2 passes was all that was needed to leave me feeling BBS. I finished up with the Alt-Innsbrook for that icey cold feeling and I'm ready to head out to the office. It started to feel like Autumn over this past weekend and I'm really enjoying the cooler temperatures. Have a great day gentlemen!

The B&B has an "America" theme going in their SOTD forum. I used my colored-copper skinned John Curtin "Invincible" blade and had an average shave. The blade needs more honing or perhaps my face was especially tender this morning. Lack of sleep for a couple nights may have made things tougher as well. Anyway, I'm pretty close to BBS.
