Prep - Hot shower, face scrub
Soap - TOBS Eton College Cream and Trumpers Eucris uberlather (smells great!)
Razor - Ford and Medley Arrow (5/8th round point)
Brush - Invisible Edge pure badger
AS - Trumpers Lime Skin Food, L'Eau D'Issey balm
Cologne - L'Eau D'Issey
Verdict - Cracking shave, got a really good rhythm going and the razor just seemed to glide across my face with no effort whatsoever. I had one of my closest shaves yet without having to spend a lot of time going over the 'problem' areas of my chin and neck. Still a little rough in places, but for 1 full pass and 1/2 a second, its pretty darned good! I really think I prefer the Ford and Medley to my Dovo, it just always seems to be that bit sharper and easier to get good results with - good old Sheffield Steel! Of course, the Dovo is an excellent razor and any difficulties I'm having with it are most likely down to me learning to strop with it, and probably messing up the edge in the process!
Sorry for the lack of a piccie.
By the way, I'm so jealous of all the razors on show is these threads, some truly beautiful bits of kit!

Sounds like a great shave I do like that cologne, very fresh aquatic scent,
Yes some awesome pieces of kit that these fellas generously exhibit here are inspiring. I'm happy with my razors but in comparison to some of the razors pictured they are really plain Janes.Regards
Nic

I thought i would never get to shower and shave. Everytime i tried my daughter would stop me to do something else. I love the scent of Bay Rum. My daughter was showering the dog and when she was done she said "MMMM i wish the bathroom always smelled like this" Me too.

We literally got back a couple of hours ago from our trip to Yosemite National Park. Had a wonderful and relaxing time. Lots and lots of hiking, eating, relaxing and plain old having fun. What a wonderful place to spend a few days in, some beautiful shots as well Robert, I think a few are worthy of a frame, i'm liking the simplistic twisting tree trunk photo and the way it moves inside the frame, I hope you and your family had a wonderful time and a well deserved break.
