The Colt?? It's one of my daily CCW's. I've been really working at improving the little aspects of restoring blades and making scales. Lots of fun working with the different media on the scales.

Yes indeed that Colt is a beauty (the razor is very nice too). I agree, restoration is a lot of fun. Keep up the good work!

    Thumbs up

I have to admit that this SOTD thingy is pretty addictive. Loving everyone's shaves and gears. I think I'll go through withdrawals if I don't get my daily dose. Keep up the FANTASTIC work and bring on those great shaves guys.

Thank you kindly Joe. The kind words are appreciated my friend. Toyos are amazing shavers

PS: Were you MIA or is it just me, being so out of commission that it seems like I haven't seen you in awhile?

Keep at it Rune...You've got all the support that you could wish for in this forum brother. To keep your mind off it, concentrate on your nice collection of razors.

    Paul,
That is a nice shave...Hope your call and dental appt wasn't too grueling. But I am sure that made up for lost time by working on a few razors, LOOL. Can't wait to see them

Locale:The Dungeon of Dew, The Lair of Damp
    Music: Pat Travers Live
prep: Hot shower / Goats Milk Soap / Virgin Olive Oil Rub
Strop: Star 3" Big Daddy Chestnut 25/50
    Brush: Tweezerman Pure Badger
    Uber: RazoRock XXX

Result:No pictures tonight, I was just too tired. My Travis Honed (at the meetup) Genco shaves amazingly. I now do my touchups with my new DE razors. I have a new Parker, a Weishi and a Gillette 1933 vintage. They all shave great, but nothing holds a candle to my Genco. It's a beautiful cool evening in the Rockies, a great shave for a great night!

    Happy Shaves!!!!

Hang in there!! I quit using snuff this winter and that was the mother pain of all, for me, but it's worth it, so worth it!!

I agree Robert - GREAT work and gear Everyone!! And it must be addictive, I think every other day "today I'll only shave and don't bother with a pic" but does it happen!? No!

This brush is impressive, the real oversized brush

I'm a rugby fan too, and former player, this time it's very far for me, last RWC I enjoyed the 1/4 final game in Cardiff, great stadium, city and country.
