Post Week of September 4 SOTD - Wednesday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
Brush: 26mm Simpson "Chubby 2", 2-band Super Badger
Razor: 7/8" Giesen & Försthoff decorated back, Full Hollow Ground, Spike Point
Strop: 30/50/50 (Neil Miller Linen / Imperial Horsehide leather / Imperial Cordovan leather)
Soap: La Toja "Manantiales" Shave Soap
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Lavender, no alcohol)
    Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer
After Shave Splash: La Toja "Manantiales" AS
    Cologne: La Toja "Manantiales" EdC
Results: The G&F did not disappoint. Her edge was still sharp and smooth after being ignored for a while....Just a few laps around the strops and she was as good as new. The La Toja soap was simply amazing!!! Every moment of the prep was a delightfully enjoyable experience. Today, I paid special attention and made sure I used literally zero pressure and short strokes during the entire shave...The result was very rewarding and smooth experience .

Have an EXTRAORDINARY Wednesday gentlemen .

Two passes plus touch ups, a fine shave. The scent of the Boellis after shave gel continues to grow on me.
Well done Konstantinos...Henckels rock. The Boellis sounds intriguing to say the least

Well, it's Trufitte & Hills, West Indian Lime cream ... or maybe you're thinking of the greenish color in the shaving mug under the brush? That's only a reflection of the green color from the T&H tube (I didn't see it until I checked again) ...
    Mikael,
It's the stuff in the mug I was thinking. Thanks bro

    Hey T.,
It's a wonderful feeling to have a great shave one day only to find yourself needed a minor touch up. Speaks volumes to the quality of the W&B. Well done my friend.

    Tom,
You are too kind my friend . But, I think it's you guys that inspire me. Therefore, it should be me thanking you all for making the SOTD a nice place to hang my hat daily. So:

    Planned for tonight:

Pre-Shave: Hot shower, Prorasso pre-shave cream
    Brush: AOS Badger
    Razor: 6/8" Boker Tree Brand
Strop: 25/50 rough/finished leather on a SRD Paddle strop
    Soap: SRD Vetiver soap
    Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Lemon)
    Moisturizer: Trumper's Sandalwood skin food
After Shave Splash: Ogallala Bay Rum & Sandalwood

Now that it's planned out, I can hardly wait till the kids are in bed! If I try to shave before they're asleep, they tend to distract me at the worst possible moments, leading to excess usage of styptic....
