    Day: Tuesday
Razor: Beau Brummel No. 35 6/8th
    Brush: Frank silver tip badger
Soap: Crabtree & Evelyn - Sandalwood
    Strop: SRD Paddle Strop
Cologne: Ralph Lauren - Polo Black
Summary: Wow there are some awesome photos people post on here! Anyway, for my third attempt at the shave of the day: This time I had an afternoon shave! Prep was a hot towel, followed by my sandalwood soap and two passes with my Beau Brummel No. 35 and a BBS finish. This razor is definitely up there in my top five! Followed by a dash of cologne for the fiance

    Glenn,
If restorations like that are your method of "convincing" someone to try straight razors, I'm ready to be convinced! Great looking blade, and good job spreading the straight razor love!

Razor:Wade & Butcher "The Celebrated Hollow Ground"
Brush:Jade and brass handled boar brush
    Soap:Arko
    AS:Thayers Lavender and Hai Karate
Result:I've been away from civilization for the past two weeks camping and needed something to get rid of the two weeks growth. This beast of a blade took down the growth with no problem at all.The Arko is new for me and made me remember that I really miss all the wonderful tallow based soaps of the past.Great 2 1/2 pass CBS shave. On a more somber note I finally used the last of my Hai Karate aftershave.

That's got to be one of the most beautiful Bolivian Rosewood scales I have seen on any blade. She's very classy. Great shave

Tonight was a low budget Uber but still a good one. 3 passes and I'm smooth as a catfish's belly, and feeling fresh.
    Grant,
That's a beautiful backdrop. I love drives like this. Makes it all worthwhile. Glad you had a great time at the meetup. It sure sounded and looked fun

    Glenn,
You did absolutely great. I am certain that the new owner will be more than just pleased.

Post Week of September 4 SOTD - Tuesday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
Brush: 30mm Morris & Forndran Blonde Badger
Razor: 13/16" Toyo "Special Razor" w/ Swedish Assab Steel, Full Hollow Ground, Spike Point
Strop: 25/40/50 (Neil Miller Linen / Imperial Horsehide leather / Imperial Cordovan leather)
Soap: D.R. Harris "Arlington" Shave Soap
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Lavender, no alcohol)
Moisturizer: D.R. Harris "Arlington" AS Milk
After Shave Splash: D.R. Harris "Arlington" AS
Results: I opted for the Toyo Special Razor today. Max: this one's coming your way to try out (with a couple of projects). The quality of the software afforded by the Arlington line was simply superb. Who could ask for anything more? The Toyo just wiped the face clean in literally 2 passes and a minor, effortless ATG pass. As our colleague "1OldGI" likes to say: I am ready to display myself in public again .

Have a FABULOUS Tuesday gentlemen .

    Robert,
Every time I think you cannot possible outdo yourself, you do! That is a stunning piece of hardware with yet another Toyo. The first time I saw one of these I had to google the brand, then I told myself to keep dreaming, but thanks for the gorgeous shots and comments.
