Thanked: 1185Hump Day Shave
Prep: Hot Water Wash
Razor: Imperial Extra Hollow Ground
Brush: Semogue 1305
Soap: Speick Shavestick
AS: Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Finish: Crusellas Kolonia 1800 Sandalwood
Two things, first, I failed miserably at one pass discipline today. It would have been a DFS if I'd stopped there but everything was coming together so well that I decided a second pass was in order. No harm no foul I guess, my entire face is CBS. Secondly, this is probably the most underrated soap in my rotation. I don't shave with it nearly as often as I should but it has always consistently performed very well. It's affordable, lasts for a long time, smells great and gives a great lather every shave, so what's not to like?

09-14-2011, 10:18 AM #154Filarmonica | DR Harris (Soap/Creme/Glycerin) | Simpson | Thayers Lavender | Sabon | Caldey Island Lavender + Lorenzo Villoresi Vetiver
Result: Fantastic! This was my first time making a DR Harris uberlather, and it was well worth the effort! This stuff was moist, rich and pillowy. With my face slathered with that goodness, the Filarmonica did exactly what we all know those lovely Spanish blades do! And with all this tremendous software, I was truly transported. By the time it was all said and done, I could have sworn I'd taken a wrong turn at Albuquerque and wound up in Provence instead. My face is clean as a whistle, and I smell fresh as the French countryside. Look out world!!!He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.
