Razor: Dovo Best Quality 6/8
Brush: Omega boar
Soap: Tabac
Toner: Booster Bay Rum
A/S: Master Topaz
Rushed morning trying to get out in time to make 8 AM dentist appointment with daughter. Shave was decent, but some stubble left on right side near the jaw that I didn't know I'd missed until 30 or so minutes after the shave after the skin had settled down.

The shave cream was the last teeny bit left over from the Atlanta/SE Region Meetup over the weekend. Apparently, the gang really liked S&D!
I had to get whatever I could get out of the tubs...Last edited by Moosiker; 02-07-2012 at 11:55 PM.

Thanked: 485Wednesday, they tell me…
Yet it feels like Monday, or even a day very similar to Monday but not actually Monday. A day where you’re mad at the world and everything in it, a day when Pink Floyd songs ring true; songs about machines, running over the same old ground, soft middle age; songs about NOT being part of the machine, but BEING part of the machine nevertheless. That’s the sort of Monday it was, and a nick portended the gloom…
The Schulze Wiener Schaber was a fiddly little delight. The Arko was a urinal scented little delight. The Truefitt and Hill Trafalgar lent dignity to that which would have otherwise been a vulgar conflict and the Burberry Eau de Toilette lent a contemporary touch.
All in all a rushed shave for at 06:30Hrs, Greenwich Mean Time +9.5 I was purchasing a nice De Pews work of art; which left less time for the shave. Maybe some of you have seen it on the forum. I was told I need a wedge, and that monkey tail is just outrageous. I intend to retain almost all of the patina and try and polish by hand the original scales with bees’ wax or something (advice? I think they're horn). That razor has given me a few restless nights of late and I haven’t even MET it yet!
I believe I may have coveted, but it’s not like it’s a man’s wife or manservant or anything. One needs SOME kind of stimuli…

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Wednesday
Razor: Merkur Alu
Blade: Astra
Brush: Altesse badger
Soap: Ogallala Bay Rum Sage & Cedar
Toner: witch hazel
A/S: Old Spice
Posting early because I'm up early. Decided to post a picture of the Merkur Alu, which is a 3-piece razor that is essentially a Merkur HD with a really fat aluminum handle (only slightly longer than an HD, and a bit heavier). This is a great razor when my hand is bothering me, or when I just want a change of pace.
