All the Laphroiag are tasty. Excellent choice. I'm up for a new bottle. Going for the cask strength this time.

    Gentlemen,
It's a soft morning in Wisconsin with snowflakes dancing a sassy mazurka. The shave took an hour today, because I spent half the time daydreaming. Oh, well . . .

    Razor: Edwin Jagger DE89BA11 Barley
Blade: Personna "Red Pack" on its third and final tour
    Brush: Semogue 830 boar
    Soap: Klar
    Pre-shave: Castle Forbes
    Scuttle: Schwarzweisskeramik
    Alum
Witch hazel: Thayers Super Medicated with Aloe Vera
    Balm: Trumper's Coreal Skin Food
    Aftershave: Musgo Real classic
    Music: Nocturns by Chopin
Finisher: Sitting by the window with a pot of English tea and watching the world go by

    Friday

    Razor: Merkur Alu
    Blade: Astra
    Brush: Omega boar
    Soap: TSD Cool Water
    Toner: witch hazel
    A/S: Aqua Velva Ice Sport

My skin is pretty much better, but my right hand was sore this morning, so I got out the Alu and had a nice shave (not great, but nice).

I'll see if they store any of it. You'll hear about it when I do.

    badger brush
    JM Fraser SC
    Thayers
    aqua Velva Ice Blue AS
    Nivea ASB

My stroppingj has been improving lately, and I think my eyes are lasting better/ yielding better shaves.mI Stropped this razor 100 times on the leather, and then 10 laps on the back (rough) side, which is pasted with CrOx. nice, smooth close shave.

I had a chance to sample the Pendryn at a scotch tasting festival here in Vancouver BC recently, and I was floored by how good it was. It was my FAVOURITE single malt of the festival. very good stuff... Pretty expensive here in Canada, so I have not bought a bottle yet, but it's worth trying.

Thanks, Joe. In the shave den the world stops for me. I just fade away.
By the way, that soft snow earlier this morning has turned in to a snowstorm with a blinding whiteout. Now, that's what I call winter here in the province.
    Stay well, my friend.
