These Sunday Dome shaves are becoming more comfortable and the behind the head piece becomes a real exercise in Zen shaving. Slowly but surely though, I think I have it down to a science. No nicks, no cuts just a great dome and face shave for a relaxing Sunday afternoon

Thanked: 17First shave in a week!
The lady and I were of in the woods doing a little ski touring, needless to say I was a scruffy mess that needed some attending to today.

Soap: RazoRock XXX
Razor: ERN 1166 Crown and Sword
Post: RazoRock Alum, Thayers Lemon and Dominican Bay Rum to finish!
I do love the heavy(er) blades for laying waste to thick growth! It may not be BBS but it was a great shave all round.
Enjoy the week Gents, I hope to drop in and check out more great shaves this week.
rerun... gonna bust out the camera and take new pics eventually

Thanked: 485Monday, Schulze Day
A public holiday here in South Australia, due to some sort of horse race I believe…
A nice shave with the Schulze, but I forgot about a small cut I had and opened it up again. Used the last of the La Toja cream today. Not a bad cream, but not really a favourite; not enough scent for me.
A lovely, sunny early autumn day, might throw a roast on the Webber BBQ…
Razor: Schulze Wiener Schaber Pre Shave: Proraso Shave Cream : La Toja sensitive After Shave: Clubman

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Birthday shave, today!
Prep: Hot shower
Soap: Martin De Candre
Razor: Dovo Best Quality 5/8
Strop: Tony Miller Latino/Linen 50x50
Balm: Shave Butter
Aftershave: Pinaud Clubman
Pomade: Royal Crown
Beautiful day in Chicagoland complimented this superior shave. Been neglecting my straights for a bit, due to time and convenience. Felt great to take this top-shelf talent for a spin.
Sidenote: has anyone seen the bottom of one of these MdC jars? Going on 8 months with the 170g and have barely made a dent. This could EASILY last me 2 years.
