Shave prep: Hot towel - lather - hot towel - lather
    Brush: D.R. Harris
    Soap: Crabtree & Evelyn Nomad
    Scuttle: Georgetown Pottery G5
    Razor: Revisor Seaman 6/8”
Strop: Kanayama 20+ on the canvas 50+ strokes on the leather
After Shave Splash: Nivea aftershave Balm

Notes: After succeeding honing a couple of blades on the Norton 4/8k and a Coticule, I picked the Revisor for a relaxing Sunday afternoon shave. The freshly touched-up edge cut through the whiskers like wiping them off with a towel! A multi-pass session left me with a bbs face and a smile!

    Thanks,
    Paul

Gentlemen, today's shave was jolly. I chose a pair of Mozart violin concertos to complement the ritual. That reminded me of what the humorist Ambrose Bierce said about the violin: "An instrument to tickle human ears by friction of a horse's tail on the entrails of a cat."

Razor: Le Grelot with gorgeous snake wood scales
    Razor: Merkur Progress
    Blade: Personna
    Brush: Simpson Chubby 1
    Soap: eShave
    Scuttle: Moss
    Bowl: Ayars
    Pre-shave: Castle Forbes
    Alum
    Witch hazel
    Balm: Institute Karite
    Aftershave: Wellington Cologne by Trumper
Music: Violin Concertos 1 and 2 by Mozart
Finisher: Brazilian coffee and a letter to an old friend
