He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.

Its been a while since I pulled out my Grandfathers Gem for a head shave.
2 passes and I'm smooth as a cue ball. The Gem is a pleasure to use.
Thanks for all the birthday wishes for Mason yesterday guys. You brought big smiles to my wife and I.
Jacky Boy's bone marrow test results finally came through today and its all clear!!!
Everybody expected it to be clear but its such a HUGE releif to have it confirmed.
Just 7 more weeks of Chemo and we're done. Yay!!!

Yesterday's shave was so good and so late in the day that CBS was only a quick touch up away. Monday morning sure does roll around quickly. If I could figure out a way to make the work week pass as quickly as Saturday and Sunday...well I'd never have to worry about a work week. Have a great Monday fellas!
Grant, great news on Jacky Boy's tests. 7 weeks is not a long time compared to what you've already been throughLast edited by 1OldGI; 03-19-2012 at 11:15 AM.

Soap: MWF
Razor: Genco "Fluid Steel"

Result: This razor was a gift from my youngest son. It was his first razor and since he decided to go DE he let me have it. The hone wear is pretty extensive, and it was not sharp. Took it to the hones and went 4/8k norton, 12k naniwa, diamond pasted strop, big mama, SRD Premium I progression. It started out good, and ended rough. After the shave I looked at the edge and saw a spot were it "crumbled" and was jagged. Hope there is some good metal left after I reset the bevel...Hope this is not a harbinger for the rest of the week!
Have a Great Monday Gents!

Grant,
It is incredibly inspiring to hear how well Jacky is doing. I know that I can never truly imagine what it is you've been through the past year, but I keep you in my thoughts, and look forward to watching your son grow up through these pages! Congratulations to you and your very blessed family! He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.
