Today I learnt that Bailey (my grandson) has a bone infection and a staph infection and needs to be on a drip for six weeks, and then another operation. I thought we’d passed this ridiculous phase and now here we are again on that insane roundabout with hospital visits and stuff.

Good morning, gentlemen. Today's shave was about as exciting as a wet sneeze.

Razor: Kropp 6/8 round point — a sweet razor
Razor: Gillette Tech shave head with Edwin Jagger Octagonal handle — waste of the EJ handle
Blade: Feather — second and final tour
    Brush: Semogue 830 — a superb boar
Soap: Valobra — a bust of a shave soap, and I should have spiked it with Lavanda cream
    Pre-shave: Castle Forbes
    Scuttle: Moss
Lather bowl: none — face lathered
    Alum
    Witch hazel
    Balm: Bulgari
    Aftershave: English Leather
Music: silence so that I could complain about the shave
Finisher: Coffee and further complaints about shave

    Hello Joe:
Today's shave was about as exciting as a hangover from a cheap scotch.

Last nights shave was bitter sweet since this Noonan came to me with a frown. After removing the frown, it did not seem to want to take a bevel. I ran this thing on the Choosera 1K for what seemed like an eternity but it would not remove arm hair. Eventually I just proceeded to hone the thing ( I got frustrated after cutting myself twice) and then attempted a shave.

    Hot shower, Stephan's,Warm oil
    Dirty Bird Scuttle
    New Forest Badger
    Nancy Boy Shave Cream
T Noonan and Sons "Dominic", 6/8, Full Hollow
    SRD P1 Strop
    Razorock Aluminum
    Vaseline for men

I guess the only real test is the "SHAVE TEST" because although it would not cut arm hair, it gave a really nice, smooth shave. Now I have to clean up the rest of the blade.

Fantastic shave today and great scents all around on a RAINY Tues... Noah may be bringing the boat around soon today or I may need "floaties". Loved the lather and the Genco was flawless on a three pass shave. Don't really see many of these around any more.
    Have a great tues all!

    Good evening friends!

    Shave prep: Face wash
    Brush: Omega boar
Soap: Martin de Candre Le Domino
    Scuttle: Robert Becker large
Razor: Platypus 88 Extra Quality, 5/8 hollow spike point
    Strop: nun2sharp's hanging leather strop
After Shave Splash: Rose vetiver home made splash
Notes: This razor just off the Oozuku is a delight. Brilliant suds as well today, and the splash engulfed me in enchanting fragrances, but made me recall the small cut I gave myself. Nothing the styptic could not handle tho
