No shave for me today! Yesterday's was just too good, I plain don't need it yet!! I have honed another 2 razors today though and I can't wait to try them tomorrow!

    Thursday

Thursday is Burrell day (I have a list) and it’s interesting that I was talking about Burrells here just the other day. I had a very rushed shave this morning, I was running late to pick up Bailey; I’m looking after him for the day (I’m on holidays this week). I shaved in probably less than five minutes flat. Normally of course I like to take my time, the average is about ten minutes. That’s from beginning to end, making the lather, etc. Unfortunately as I was rushing a little too much I KNOW I rolled the edge at the heel slightly on the post shave strop. I’ll need to touch it up on the Shapton a bit later…

    Razor: Burrell Top Flight
    Pre Shave: Proraso
    Cream: C O Bigalow
    After Shave: Clubman

Today I tested out 1930's Gillette Tech with a Swedish 7am and my new Semogue Owners club boar in cherry wood

    prep: washed face
    Razor: 1930 Gillette Tech
    Blade: Swedish 7am
Brush: Semogue Owners club 24mm Boar in Cherry wood
Soap: Mikes Natural Peppermint and Rosemary
    Post: Alum
    AS: Pinaud Lilac Vegetal

Did not know what to expect from this razor. Whipped up some sweet lather and started dragging the Ole Gillette across my money maker. It was about the most gentle razor I have ever used in my life. Not quite bbs but most definitely a DFS all day long The alum went on like a champ and the Pinaud was tamed. BTW can I just say that I love lilac vegetal....ya love...

any way couldn't decide btw two pics so i am going to use both

enjoy your shaves brethren of the blades
