    Tarkus,
Beautiful shave. Does Trumper's seriously stain your brushes (bristles or handles)? I never had that problem with it. Hmmmmm !! Maybe more rinsing after the lather ( I mean serious thorough rinsing)

Good to see you post again Robert. Been a bit busy on this end but today is a training day so I slept until 0530 and then did a single pass shave.

    Hot shower
    Dirty Bird
    Razorock Classic Shaving cream soap
    Badger brush
    Boker, Red Injun 101
    Razorock Aluminum
    Aramis After shave cream
    Aramis Cologne

This was the first razor I ever honed, from bevel setting to shave. I am still amazed I was able to put such a nice edge. I did a single pass shave this morning with some clean-up after. Nice and smooth, I enjoyed my shave this morning before work.

Thursday is Burrell day (I have a list) and it’s interesting that I was talking about Burrells here just the other day. I had a very rushed shave this morning, I was running late to pick up Bailey; I’m looking after him for the day (I’m on holidays this week). I shaved in probably less than five minutes flat. Normally of course I like to take my time, the average is about ten minutes. That’s from beginning to end, making the lather, etc. Unfortunately as I was rushing a little too much I KNOW I rolled the edge at the heel slightly on the post shave strop. I’ll need to touch it up on the Shapton a bit later…

    Razor: Burrell Top Flight
    Pre Shave: Proraso
    Cream: C O Bigalow
    After Shave: Clubman
Carl, in reply to your comment about the Burrell. It has a 5 in the middle of the wings between the Top and Flight.
Glad to hear Bailey is healing nicely, what a brave little boy!
Slow down and enjoy the shaves....5 minutes!!! It takes me that long just to pick a razor...LOL

    Thursday

Prep: Hot Shower/ Proraso pre-post creme (almost out...)
    Brush: Thater 4125-2
    Scuttle: G5
    Soap: Mike Natural Orange/Cedarwood/Black Pepper
Razor: Bresduck Special #1, 11/16, square point
    Post: Proraso AS/ Nivea Lotion
Result: Really getting the hang of this soap. I love the way the scent dries down to a cedar and hint of pepper note. Three passes with the duck and it's off to work I go...
