Wow, it's almost official - I'm going back to school. I shaved and then spent the rest of the evening writing an appropriate summary of my educational history and employment background for the Penn State application. Once I have my transcripts I'll make it official. I must be nuts...

What an end to a accident filled day! First was pooped on by my daughter. Then spilled my coffee all over myself and my car followed by random acts of klutziness all day at work. By the time I got home I wondered if I should be allowed near a sharp object!!

I decided to throw caution to the wind and not only shave, but hone my new addition. A Wellington 5/8's ish full hollow I scored from the bay for $24. Started on the Chosera 1k, then to the king 4k before going to the coticule with light slurry worked down to pure water to finish. Off to the CrOx strop for 10 followed by linen for 35, EB for 45 and finally SRD premium II for 45

    Shave

    Prep: hot shower
    Soap: Mikes Naturals
    Scuttle: SRD
    Brush: custom 2 band
    Razor: Wellington (5/8's ish)
    Strop: linen 35/EB 45/SRD PII 45
    Post: Alum
    AS: Lilac Vegetal

Result: BBS and a happy daddy

Had difficulty with the soap, seems mikes does not like to be too warm. Will adjust next time. The wellington is an amazingly smooth shaver. Extremely hollow and takes a buttery edge. I almost teared up with pride at the edge it took! Alum went on with a mild whimper, Pinaud was speechless. Great shave

    Prep Botanics face scrub
Razor Iron Duke in Welsh Yew
Brush Le Tuft Le Une Grande
Vito's Coconut & Almond Soft Soap
    Alum & Witch Hazel
    Botanics Moisturiser SPF 15
Coty Raw Vanilla Eau de cologne

    Jamie.

The Duke led his men in to battle with a pincer movement totally destroying the bristle forces at will, just in case there were any other enemy bristles forces left he moved over the battle field once more, just to finish off those left hanging on after the first attack. He seem very pleased with his troops including the back up team, but he knows there will be more battles in the near future so he must keep himself and his men razor sharp and ready for action.

    Tuesday

It appears some of us are in story mode, so here's my contribution...

Major Wade Butcher straightened his creaking back. He wiped a sweaty hand across his dusty brow and surveyed the landscape with squinty, sad blue eyes. He gritted his teeth and turned to the task at hand; clearing the landscape of vegetation in preparedness for the Master’s daily journey to The Work.

Whistling shrilly through taught lips he called his loyal soldiers Private Proraso and Agent ‘Top Secret’ (who refused to give his real name, but who clearly was a Government man – and Butcher knew all about Government men) to assist.

Miss Lavanda Ach Brito giggled in a girlish manner and spread herself rather a little too familiarly when summonsed to provide some comfort, embarrassing all concerned. Major Butcher scuffed the toe of his boot across the sand and mumbled something about the frontier being no place for girls and ‘flowery scents’. Turning, he strode away; Private Proraso running by his side to keep up.

Agent Top Secret also turned, and, hunching his shoulders, hid from whatever peering eyes there might be in this barren landscape furious purple ink scribbles with which he filled his well-worn leather clad notebook…

    Razor: Major Wade and Butcher
    Pre-Shave : Private Proraso
    Cream : Agent Top Secret
After Shave: Miss Lavanda Ach Brito
