Thanks so much! I figured I had to make a strong comeback so I pulled out the Diamond!

    Wednesday

A public holiday here in Australia for Anzac day. Anzac day marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War. The photo shows the Rising Sun badge on my slouch hat in the background. I never fought, but I was in the Army for ten years, so today is important to me. I’m rather a pacifist these days, so try not to be one who glorifies war but rather remembers the horrible waste and disgusting acts it brings.

The morning’s shave with the Klas Törnblom brought with it a cut to my neck as I mistakenly moved the razor sideways.

    Razor: Klas Törnblom
    Pre-Shave : Proraso
    Cream : Faulding ‘Shave’
    After Shave: Dominica Bay Rum

Hey Breatheren!!!! Been gone almost a month with an emergancy move and break up from Ex-SWMBO. She almost got to destroy my collection.
Army has kept me real busy as well as a new civillian gig at a new hospital. I'll be back after next week as I'll be stuck out in UTAH till next Fri. Love all the pics as they keep me wishing I had mine. The new shave cave is ready and waiting.
Carl get with me next week and I'll send out the Gillette Slim to ya.

As for the shaving cream...I think you now know why shaving cream out of a can may not be the best choice for a straight razor shave.

Next time you're in a hurry, grab your trusty shave soap stick--Arko, Irisch Moos, LaToya, Speick, Tabac, or Valobra. They're just as quick and deliver a quality shave.
Thank you for your advice! I think I will pick up shave soap stick in near future, because I often need to have quick shave and don't want to put that Gillete stuff on my face (let's leave it for the underarms)

Kiebitz my first and most favourite razor, really like the size and cherry wood scales, bought it NOS and thanks to this outstanding razor I'm in
