Honed up four yesterday and also testing out the Creed Green Irish Tweed Soap.
The small Fili is off by a smidge and will need a little more work. The Fili13 was dead on. Henckles 72-V is a Quarter hollow that was awesome. The Wosty? Well that was an old restore that just got finished. Sat on the dresser for a few months. The Edge was great but the bevel is funny looking as the blade has a warp to it. Shave's great though.
    Now to the Creed soap.....
WOW Great stuff. Reminds me of MDC with the scent of GIT. A bit tougher then MDC to get the water ratio right but not much. Anyone else have this? I think I've seen it here once but thats it. Pricey stuff but amazing.

    Default Father's Day Shave

    Happy Father's Day to all.

    Today's shave:

    Warm Shower, Stephan's,Warm oil
    Dirty Bird Scuttle
    Castle Forbes Lavender Shave Cream
    New Forest Badger Brush
Max Sprecher, 13/16 Spanish Point : 3/8 Hollow
    SRDP1 Strop
    Razorock Aluminum
    Stephan's Lilac AS
    Vaseline for men.

After a very nice morning having coffee with three close friends, I returned home to shave about 10AM. No shave for the last several days, since Thursday afternoon I believe. I've had this razor for some time so I took the time to do 15 laps on a Naniwa 12K, then 15 laps each on .25 diamond spray and .50 CrOx. Stropped on the SRDP1 100 laps and then shaved.
I really enjoyed the software today as well. I recently made my own pre shave oil with essential oil of citrus. It has a wonderful sweet aroma that is quite nice. I then lathered up the CF which always performs incredibly. The combination of the citrus and lavender provided a wonderfully sweet aroma which lasted throughout the shave.
The razor removed the whiskers effortlessly. The bevel placed onto the razor by Max is superb since all I did was polish it up a bit. I had a great father's day shave then went out for lunch.

I hope everyone enjoys their day as much as I have mine.

No shave today, and a rubbish one yesterday. Home with a bad back, general malaise and a 'bad liver'...
I think it's the season. I think I'm very effected by the seasons. The fact that every second advertisement on TV is about a funeral plan or life insurance for over 50's or chairs that help you get up out of them isn't helping. I have been able to manage a little strength to research wash stands, though. I shall think I shall take to shaving in my room shortly and also take my meals there and read Byron there by my window...
