No shave today, but I thought I'd share a few pictures I took at the park today with my wife:
And most importantly, a hearty congratulations to Tom and Marcus! He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.

Sunday's Fantastic Shave!!!
Razor: 11/16 G. Johnson 7 star Hammer
RazoRock Cacao
Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Black Leather
Wonderful first shave off this freshly restored razor. It has a really nice smoothness to it, compliments the incredible sharpness quite well. Very hard steel, a bear to hone, but worth every moment I spent on it.
Have a great week all, I start my new job Monday, and I'm very pumped about it. I've been unemployed since January, so this is a gift from God as far as I'm concerned. I am so ready to get back to work!!

First shave of the day submission for me. Today was also my first shave with this blade which was newly restored. It had a couple of spots of rust and pitting and no detectable bevel before (hours) of work on wet/dry paper then more hours on the Norton 4/8k and a finish on the Nani 12k and 100 or so on the horse shell strop.
How was the shave? It had been a few months since I had used a heavier grind, and, after my first stroke, I had to check to feel if it was actually cutting hair. It was. Smooth and quiet. Not perfect, there's some getting to know each other to do. I'm still getting the hang of using straights and the lower jimps helped me keep a grip on this piece of steel. Two passes and some touch-up. This wasn't a fickle and capricious blade. It had done this before.
