After a quite long time of silence, during which I have been traveling in Europe giving speeches and lectures, I safely made home and found the pleasure and time to post tonight's shave. Did I say J.A. Henckels razors are among my favorite? Well, now you know!

    • Pre-shave: Proraso Green Pre-Post Shave Cream
    • Soap: Proraso Green Shaving Soap
    • Brush: Omega Synthetic "Syntex" Shaving Brush 90081
    • Razor: J.A. Henckels Friodur 70 1/2, 5/8 Full Hollow, Round Point
    • Post-Shave: Umbrian Extravirgin Olive Oil
    • After Shave: Floïd Blue After Shave

You're the one who suggested it, and I am not going to ignore you. I think it will be another good scent for me. After letting 1805 fully develop, I think I am sold on it possibly to trump proraso.
Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

    Prep: Hot Shower
    Strop: SRD P1
    Bowl: Imperial Shaving Lather Bowl
Brush: 24mm TGN knot in Custom Crimson Swirl handle
    Cream: Al’s Shaving “Saigon”
    Razor: Iwasaki Kamisori

Result:I hadn’t shaved with the Iwasaki in a little while and thought I would take her for a spin today. I LOVE how this razor shaves, it is in my top 3 razors I have ever shaved with, BBS every time with this beauty. There is something about the Kamisori style razors that really appeal to me. I learned early on to respect the razor or else…the Kamisori demands even more respect. When respected and used correctly, a better shave is hard to be found.
    Happy shaves gentlemen!

    Default Midweek madness!!

    HI guys,

Today's after work shave consisted of:

Prep: Hot Shower, hair conditioner rub, left in
Soap: RazoRock Artisan 'Boston Tea Party' + Glycerine
Razor: 6/8 Robeson Shoulderless "Robesons Best"
brush: 6" American Ash Silvertip Custom
    Post: Alum + Witch Hazel
    AS: Aqua Velva Ice Blue
    EdC: Stetson

I love the combo of the Blue and the Stetson. This razor is amazing. I'm sure happy I dug it out last weekend and finished her up again. The new edge on this is the best it's been since I've had it.

Loved the shave, a great blade, excellent lather, wonderful brush, and the Velva and Stetson finished it off for a wonderful evening. The fresh blade is a little crisp still, needs more stropping to get a little smoother yet, but man will it shave. Wonderful!

A nice rainy day, the first in months, and wow, will it make for some good sleeping tonight. Can't wait~

C'mon weekend!!!!! Have a great one fellows!
