    Prep: Proraso pre shave

    Brush: Vulfix 660 med

Soap: Cella, Cremo Cream, six drops glycerin and one drop lanolin lathered in a Robert Becker scuttle

    Strop: 3 inch bridal leather

Always impressed with the clean smooth shaves from my two vintage Bokers and this was no exception. Nice combo for an uber lather too, lots of glide. Great start to the day, hope you have one too.

    Thursday:

    Sprock 6/8 round, stropped 20/60
    Arko cream, Conk badger
    Brut cologne

Three passes. Satisfying harvest of two days' growth, near bbs.

The Sprock sings like a cymbal on the strop and plinks like a music box tine when it pops a hanging hair. (Actually the sound is faintly reminiscent of clicking the lid open on an old Zippo lighter.) Unfortunately, the extra hollows aren't quite as good with my beard.

Have a terrific shave and an even better day!

    SOTD September 13th

    Hot shower prep
    Razor: GEM ~ 1900
    Soap: New formula Proraso
    Mug: Soup Cup
    Brush: ~1900 re-knotted STAY-FAST boar
    Aftershock:Alum block

Tried the New Proraso and like the old C.O.Bigelow better due to more lubricity. Good shave today.

Sorry fer missing yesterday...duty and friendship called.
