I have the day off and will be spending it with my GF. She has not been feeling well. Take her to breakfast. Wonderful shave today with my fav soap and cream. BBS from the Japanese straight. Not sure of the name but i believe its a TSC.

    Have a great Friday.

DNP (damn near perfect) shave today! Two ships passed in the shave den to make up a perfect combo-The Najeeb and the Old Spice. I even found myself doing the whistle after I splashed the ASL on. Btw, I am not the biggest fan of pre shave oils but the Body Shop has to be my favorite.

    Hot shower prep
    Razor: Wostenholm Sheffield
    Soap: VDH
Mug: 1880's American Silver Two Piece
    Brush: Horse hair
    Aftershock: Alum block
    Splash: Royall Lime "Bay Rhum"

I decided to get back to my roots! What better method than a Sheffield to trim close to them and smooth? She holds a good smooth edge since honing a couple years ago. DFS in two and a touch-up!

The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!

Day 2 with the Rolls Razor ...
You have inspired me sir! Time to dig out the Rolls I picked up in my travels recently. I had one before but both the hone and strop were busted up, but this one should be good to go. Wish me luck.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
