Being called sir makes me feel so much older than 25.

Anyway, glad to hear you're going to give it a go. Spend some time honing it and stropping it. Also bear in mind that it won't be a very comfortable shave.

    Good luck

    Prep: hot shower
    Razor: 9/8 Wade & Butcher
    Brush: AOS Fine Badger
    Cream: C.O. Bigelow
A/S: no rinse, AOS Sandalwood Balm

Result: Very early morning shave, late post. The shave was as expected, and nick free. My wife was still asleep, so no cold water rinse, or any rinse for that matter. Wiped any remainging cream and applied some AOS Sandalwood Balm goodness. DFS.

    Saturday

It seems like ages since I posted a SOTD post; looking back I see it was Monday. I have had a busy week, had to take Bailey my grandson to an Oncology appointment on Tuesday and now I have my idiot brother staying with me yet again, with his three pug dogs, which makes seven dogs in the house. Bailey is still doing well, though he did tell the nurse he was going to kick her butt...

This morning’s shave was nice and close, two passes with the J A Hellberg frameback. The Überlather of Crabtree and Evelyn Nomad lacked a little water, so the razor stuttered a little.

I’m off top celebrate my youngest son’s birthday with gourmet pizzas and boutique beers, the day is warm and sunny, the air filled with the scent of Wisteria and the sound of birds.

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Sorry I have not been sharing SOTDs lately.

The past couple weeks I've been rotating through some of the items on my new shave supply shelf...and rotating some new stuff onto itName: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1350695430.481584.jpg
