    Pre - Alum block
Strop - 3 inch bridle leather with heavy felt
    Brush - Semogue 1350 Boar
Soap - The Body Shop Macca Root
    Razor - W&B 5/8 http://straightrazorpalace.com/custo...ml#post1056896
Post - Alum block followed by Thayers witch hazel

Keeping it simple with face lathering. After a month the 1350 still sheds the odd hair but really works well. A single loading and it gave me enough for a 3 pass shave with touch ups. The Macca root yielded a super lather, slick and creamy. I really think it is a much overlooked soap. Love the heft of the W&B even though it is only a 5/8. It still is doing better than I thought it ever would supplying a satisfyingly smooth and close shave. Hope you enjoy your shave today as much as I did mine.

    FRIDAY

    Hot shower prep
    Razor: Droesher “Blacksmith Cutlery” 9/16ths
    Strop: Illinois 830
    Soap: Stroker’s Find
Mug: Old timey truck stop Coffee mug
    Brush: 20mm Rubberset
    Aftershock: none
    Splash: Home made Bay Rum

A glorious morning; an effulgent sun; the the land around,
    brilliant in its rays.

Another worthwhile save from a bad ‘bay photo fer cheap! The little razor that could...and did. What a delightful shave! One and a touch up, since I am not going to church! A very maneuverable razor and the edge was all but perfect. Stropping only from here onward.

The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!

    Good morning gentlemen,
Possibly most satisfying shave ever for me... I restored this razor last week' really just cleaned up, sanded, and honed (Naniwa SS 1000/3000/8000 then Wakasa Jnat then Dovo black pasted strop) - and it is the most comfortable shaver I now own. Alum went on without any stinging whatsoever and a good close shave.

    Pre: Shower
    Soap: GFT Coconut
    Brush: Vulfix super-badger
Razor: Thiers-Issar Medaile Argent 69 frameback
    Astringent: Osma Alum block
    ASB: Avene sensitive
