Thanked: 485Thursday
A very nice shave with the J A Hellberg this morning. This razor is close to being my absolute favourite, such a great shape and look. I know it’s utter madness, but I’ve actually considered getting the frame gold plated. Has anyone ever shared this sort of madness and done that? I use tape when honing so it might last if I did get it done. I’d probably try and polish the metal to be a little smoother first, but I think it really is a valid and unique option.
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

I didn't scrape the face, but...
I do smell good!
He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.

Thanked: 146Thursday
Prep: Hot Shower / Proraso pre-post creme
Scuttle: G5
Brush: AOS Badger
Soap: Muhle Sea Buckthorn SS
Razor: Economy Supply 44/20, 11/16: square point
Post: Warm water rinse, cold water splash, Proraso AS
Finish: Nivea Lotion unscented
Result: I was almost ready to give up on the Muhle soap about a month ago, but tried it again with some hot water on the puck while showering. I was rewarded with a great lather, plentiful with top notch cushion, glide, and scent! The 44/20 finished off the whiskers in 3 passes and I am off to work feeling like a king!
