Hot shower prep
Razor: Wostenholm, The Celebrated, Washington Works.>1890
Soap: KD Creations, Sandalwood
Mug: Soup Cup
Brush: #5 HESS
Aftershock: Alum Block
Splash: HESS “Rose Face Lotion”
A very bright and cold day here, The snow has departed till another soon to be reached date and cheerfulness is in the air!
The lather was a bit thick so i had to keep adding water to it. The razor was one of my first rescales and still a great shaver. The shave? Good in two and a touch-up.

Thanked: 603Magnificent photo! I especially like the contrast between the (more or less) monochromatic elements of blade and brush, and the muted colors of the blade-handle's wrapping and the soap tub. Also, the restricted depth-of-field provides an additional (and appealing) contrast between them. Bravo!
NB: I hope the shave was every bit as good as the photo!

Strops: Tony Miller
Brush: Whippeddog Silvertip
Cream: Body Shop Maca Root
Scuttle: Robert Baker 002 in Lava Slate
Shave: 3 passes, WTG/XTG/ATG
Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel
A/S Balm: Natural Grooming Dusk

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
