Thanked: 1Prep - Hot shower with BS Maca Root face wash
Strop - 3" cow leather (first time I've ever stropped)
Brush - BS Synthetic
Lather - BS Maca Root cream in cold water
Razor - Carl Wusthoff 6/8" Full hollow (2nd time I've used my new 'proper' straight after about 15 shaves with shavette)
Post - Cold water rinse, some really cheap alcohol AS I've had for years, and BS Maca Root balm (yes, I did get a Maca Root gift set for Christmas that started this whole crazy straight thing off!)
Fantastically comfortable shave - no pink lather at all. Not BBS everywhere (just under jawline and by adam's apple are elusive!) but still learning and not tried 2 pass yet.
And thanks to Jamie (celticcrusader) for the honing - great job! I love my straight!!!

My first post in Shave of the day.
Razor: Genco Henry's XXX
Brush: Vulfix pure badger
Bowl: My bargain knobbly on the inside 50 pence soup bowl
Cream: Body Shop Maca Root with a drop of glycerin
Preshave: Hot bath, exfoliating face wash and Nuage preshave oil followed by a hot towel
Post shave: Hot towel, Witch hazel, Groomed aftershave balm and Groomed moisturiser.

Hot shower prep
Soap: RazoRock XXXX
Mug: 1800’s two piece
Brush: old
Razor: McDaniel “ Oxford St”
Aftershock: Alum block
Today: Cool 1ºC and, so far, bright. The shave..smooth! I forget how well these 150+ years old near wedges shave! It was a ball of rust when i found it a year or so ago. I had some time I could sit and work so I decided to clean and renew it. It still has the split in the scale at the back wedge. She well repaid my efforts!
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!
