Fri, Jan 18
Pre: Hot Shower, 15 Linen, 15 Leather
Razor: Hart 6/8" Square Tip w/Rosewood
Brush: TI Super Badger w/ Black Horn
Scuttle: Dirty Bird Brush Scuttle
Soap/Cream: TOBS Lavender
Post: Cold water and Alum
Aftershave: T&H 1805
Gave my neck a rest. My last shave which I was away from the computer killed my neck. Touched up my Hart on the Purple Welsh Hone and gave the neck a week break. Today's shave was smooth as butter. Still waiting on my Jos. Rodgers to come in. Got a dinner date so 1805 as the aftershave.
Happy Shaving!Last edited by Pyrateknight; 01-18-2013 at 08:17 PM.
Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

Prep: hot shower
Razor: 6/8 Dubl Duck Goldedge, Square Point
Strop: Illinois 827
Cream: Spencer & Devon Sagebrush
A/S: Thayer's Rose Witch Hazel, followed by AOS Sandalwood Balm
Result: Sorry, no time for a pic. I don't think this Dubl Duck has ever been dialed in like it is right now. I must have lucked out when I touched it up a couple weeks ago or so with just the right number of strokes and amount of pressure. Shaving like a dream, and I hope it's a long while before it needs another touch up. BBS, and ready for a date with my wife this evening. Happy Friday to all!

Thanked: 2First restored razor honed, used, and it works!
So, no posh shiny stuff here, but I recently restored the bangall and last night i honed it while watching Glen hone a wedge on youtube (cheers glen!).
First shave with a near wedge, went well! First shave with anything other than a round point full hollow, in fact!
Hot shower
Real Shave Company cream
Wilkinson sword Plastic Fantastic brush
Coffee cup liberated from posh office upstairs
Cadman Bangall near wedge, rescaled
Nivea moisturiser
Shave done in work, so no oil, balm or alum. Just what's in my locker.
