    Thursday

Nice shave with the Burrell Top Flight ‘No. 1’ this morning. A single pass shave, no need at all for another pass. The Proraso was face lathered and D. R. Harris Bay Rum aftershave was the after shave of choice.

No tunes this morning, and no reading. Coffee was a shot of espresso with no milk or sugar. I’m trying for black coffees no sugar these days, but I’m not sure if I’ll be a convert. I ate no breakfast. Music to drive to work with was a mix again. Lunch was salad and a small slice of zucchini (courgette) slice. 42 degrees today but I didn’t use the air-conditioner in the office; I’m generally shunning air conditioning; I think it turns one into a woosey wooster…

Mood was very happy fading right at the end to hot and bothered for the 50k drive home…

    Good morning Gentlemen!

    Preshave: Proraso Preshave Green
    Shaving Soap: MWF
Shaving Brush: Simpson The Commodore X3
    Razor: Dovo Best Quality 6/8"
After Shave Lotion: Dr. Harris Marlborough + 444

I woke up this morning feeling tired. I have a cold. As a matter of fact, 4 out of 5 family members, including my 8 month old son have a cold.
    I felt nostalgia for summer!
I didn’t have time for a "shave of the day" pic, so I give you a picture from my summer holidays in the island of Kefalonia, Greece. This is Myrtos beach.

Thanks, Harry! That's a beautiful picture and certainly feels good on this freezing-cold day in London (in my town it was -7C last night!).

    Καλημέρα σου μέρα!!

All the pics this week have been great. My thanks to you all for contributing to this awesome weekly thread!

Yes, we have more than 2500 islands, but only 165 of them are inhabited!
Following the movie "captain corelli's mandolin" which filmed in Kefalonia this spot has become popular destination. For the record, I didn't like the movie.

    ........
I heard on the radio about the cold in the UK. Two weeks ago we had some snow in Athens as well and sub zero tempertures. During cold weather, I really like applying methol based aftershaves like 444 balm and proraso!

    Cheers rum
