Razor – John Heiffor – Made for the Army
    Brush – Simpson Chubby#2
    Soap – GADA
    AST – ALUM
    AS – D.R. Harris Sandalwood

This razor was the result of a montage of restoration efforts from Pixelfixed’s scale material to Dirtychromes handle making to Geezers washers and my restoration and honing of the blade. All came together for this beauty.
The GADA shave cream is from Syria, and is outstanding. The Schwarzweisskeramik scuttle gets filled with water and microwaved for 3min. Prepare beard with a lather and hot towel face wrap, followed by….MORE HOT LATHER.. I always use too much.. I am clean shavin happy.

    SUNDAY
May I wish you all a week of great shaves, considerate bosses, understanding SO’s, and personal success!
    Hot shower prep
    Soap: P-160
Mug: Japanese resrvoir base three piece
    Brush: Ever-Ready Lucite, Boar
    Hone: Japanese Nakayama
    Razor: Kokuro 6/8ths frameback
    Aftershock: none needed
    Splash: none

Today: Sunny and bright -16ºC. The Shave. smoooth and close in two. Another Japanese frameback. I followed my usual practice of putting purchase cost ahead of my labor time. I spent about 4 hours on the rough razor including honing to “very nice!”
    She certainly repaid my efforts!
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!

Shave prep Evening shave, just a hot splash of water on my face
    Brush: D.R. Harris
    Preshave: Proraso Pre
    Soap: Martin De Candre
    Scuttle: Simple soup bowl
    Razor: Filarmonica DT #14
Strop: Kanayama 20 canvas strokes and 60+ strokes on the leather
After Shave Splash: Nivea aftershave Balm

    Notes:
Kept the number of strokes down as the DT#14 is always killer sharp and it more than once ruined my face!
MDC certainly limited the ‘damage’ to only a couple of weepers. A smooth shave nonetheless.
