No Shave since last Wednesday.
Hot Shower, Warm oil
Dirty Bird
AOS Lavender Shave Cream
Badger Brush
Genco, Easy Aces, 5/8 full hollow
Naniwa SS:5,8,12,.5 Diamond Spray, Strop 100 laps
Razorock Aluminum
Pinaud Bay Rum
Vaseline for men
I had not shaved in 5 days and not used the Genco in quite a while. I gave it a few runs over the stones and diamond spray. The edge turned out very well and removed the whiskers without an issue. I enjoyed the shave today. There is something to be said for giving your face a break from shaving. Today's test passed the BBT with flying colors.

Prep - Basin of hot water
Pre-Shave - Musgo Real Lime
Brush - Vulfix bristle
Soap - Arko cut in two and stuffed in a mug
Mug - An old Rogers & Bro triple-plate
Razor - 7/8 Joseph Elliot double concave
Post - Thayers and then Nivea Balm
First shave with this newly honed razor. Out of the handful of razors stamped "Silver Steel" that I've owned, this one definitely gives the closest shave. Very smooth, the heavy blade just cleaves with little effort. I'm very happy
