    Prep - None
    Strop - 3 inch bridle leather/hard felt
Razor - W&B pre 1891 near wedge barbers notch
Brush - Simpsons QE II Jubilee Manchurian badger
    Soap - MWF
Post - Alum block followed by Thayers witch hazel

Cold water face lathered shave on this -22c morning. The most disappointing shave I have had in a long time. Even after 4 passes there is some stubble left. I just can't seem to raise a sharp enough edge on the near wedge. It is smooth enough though with virtually no irritation after 4 passes. Time to put it aside for a time when I need more aggravation when honing. I do here my DE calling. Hope your shave was much better this morning.

One quick ATG pass with with the old Gillette Fat Boy with an Astra SP blade at #6 setting and all is eight with the world now. Almost forgot how good a shaver that Fat Boy is.
