When I found this razor in an antique store recently I thought it was probably a junker, but worth spending 10 bucks on.
I didn't expect to fall in love with it like I have.
There is something about it I really really like. I rarely use the same razor for 2 consecutive shaves but couldn't resist tonight.
The SRD Vanilla Bourbon smelled fantastic and produced an amazing easy lather for me.
    A GREAT 2 pass shave.

    Wednesday

    People, persons and personalities.

Today's shave was with the Jernbolaget, a very nice shave it was.

I delighted (yes, delighted) in experiencing the sight of the patination on the blade contrasting with the thin, silver line of the sharply honed edge flashing in the light as it was whisked to and fro in my hand on the strop.

Tomorrow I shall take this razor to Deep Creek Conservation park, 4452 Hectares of native scrub on the Fleurieu Peninsula for a camping trip the imagery of which shall now generate this sporadic, off the cuff, 'typing it now' prose thing...

I shall walk to the ocean
and be surprised if more than ten humans are there
I shall speak to God and my soul
    And see what He says
    and what he says
    I shall reconcile and measure
    I shall
I shall throw myself in the ocean
    And I shall
    On back
    Cross formed
    Arms thrown out
    Eyes closed
    Bobbing
    reconcile and measure
    It shall be done
I shall walk to the ocean and I shall speak to God

Chilly Willy would love this weather, it's 9 deg.F.(-13 C.) That didn't stop the MWF from producing mounds of luxurious lather and the Brummel gave an outstanding 3 pass shave. Just a little balm to top it off and hope the rest of the day goes as smooth!

    Razor - Vintage Boker Edelweiss
Brush - Simpsons QE II Jubilee Manchurian badger
